Eduardo Murakami

I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and attended the Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes, graduating with a degree in medicine in 1999.

I went on to specialise in gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as fetal medicine, training places such as the Santa Casa de São Paulo hospital in Brazil. The Instituto Brasileiro de Controle do Cancer in São Paulo, Brazil, and the Fetal Medicine Foundation in London, England.

I have a particular interest in ultrasound, and my motivation is to use ultrasound findings as a diagnostic tool to help my patients achieve full health. I have worked as a sonographer in London since 2015 – both for the NHS and in the private sector.

I am a member of several professional bodies including the Conselho Regional de Medicina de Sao Paulo, Brazil (CREMESP), Society and College of Radiographers London, England (SOR), British Medical Ultrasound Society London, England (BMUS) and UKNARIC – (British Bachelor Degree Standard Certificate Number 4745714)
