Dr. Renatta Murakami

Dr. Renatta Murakami began her medical journey in São Paulo, Brazil, where she earned her degree from the renowned Universidade de Metropolitana de Santos. After initially working as a family doctor, she pursued her passion for dermatology, completing her specialisation at the esteemed Hospital Infantil Darcy Vargas in São Paulo. For ten years, she led her own clinic in São Paulo, providing care to both private patients and those with medical insurance.

In 2015, Dr. Murakami relocated to London, driven by her dedication to furthering her dermatological expertise. While awaiting her General Medical Council registration in the UK, she contributed to an NHS practice, showcasing her versatility as a phlebotomist and in administrative roles.

To deepen her knowledge, Dr. Murakami completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary University of London. She currently serves as a specialist doctor in Dermatology at an NHS hospital and manages her own practice, Murakami Medical Centre, in London.

Dr. Murakami is deeply committed to dermatology, understanding the significant social and psychological effects of skin conditions. She is passionate about the field’s transformative power to boost patients’ self-esteem, emotional well-being, and social interactions, ultimately enhancing their overall health.
