Dr. Renatta Murakami

Dr. Renatta Murakami brings over 15 years of clinical dermatology experience across both public and private healthcare sectors in Brazil and the UK.

She graduated in 2004 from the prestigious Universidade Metropolitana de Santos in São Paulo, Brazil. After starting her career as a family doctor, she found her passion in dermatology and completed her specialist training at the renowned Hospital Infantil Darcy Vargas. She spent over a decade in Brazil providing dermatological care through her own clinic and working within the public health system, where she treated a wide range of skin conditions across diverse populations.

In 2015, she moved to London to expand her knowledge and skills in dermatology. While awaiting her GMC registration, she supported an NHS practice in clinical and administrative roles, demonstrating adaptability and dedication to patient care. She later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London.

Since 2019, Dr. Murakami has been working as a Locum Consultant in Dermatology within the NHS, including in community dermatology departments, where she provides expert care for NHS patients with various skin conditions.

Alongside her NHS work, she is the founder of Murakami Medical Centre in Hampstead, London. She specialises in general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology, combining clinical excellence with a compassionate approach. Dr. Murakami is passionate about the psychological and social impact of skin conditions and is committed to empowering her patients through personalised, high-quality care.
