I am originally from Portugal, but my medical career has taken me to Portugal, France and London.
My speciality is cardiovascular disease. This still remains the main cause of death in developed countries, and I am committed to helping my patients prevent, avoid and overcome any heart-related illness. There are always ways of improving the chances of patients, and it is my goal to help them get what is best for them and their families.
I specialise in cardiology consultations, ECGs and echocardiogram, Holter readings, cardiac device implantation and the invasive treatment of arrhythmias.
I am a member of the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK, as well as the Ordem dos Médicos in Portugal, and the Ordre des Médecins in France.
Cardiac arrhythmias, sudden cardiac death, sports cardiology, and cardiac risk assessment for surgery.
MD and PhD from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Coimbra.
