We are open. How can we be of assistance?
Infectious diseases , like the current coronavirus (Covid19), can be scary and affect our mental health.
Rumours and speculation can furl anxiety. However having access to good quality information can help us feel more in control. It’s important to stay informed. There are many things we can do to support and manage our wellbeing during such times.
Let’s stay informed; control our anxiety; control the panic; don’t be afraid and improve the sleeping patterns.
We can help you looking after your mental health while you have to stay at home. It’s always useful to have an emergency “toolkit” on hand containing all you need to get your life back on track again when things begin to go awry. It’s important that this is pre-prepared so that everything is ready should the need arise.
Remember that happiness and sadness are twins; they co-exist in us all and both eventually melt away.
Come and see us and we will help you choose as many “tools” as you like. You could take one from each week of the programme, plus a couple of extras, or perhaps a hands full that you have found most useful.
It includes a range of ideas and practices that will cover most of the situations you are likely to find yourself in.
Once you have prepared your toolkit you might like to carry it around with you. We will help you review your toolkit from time to time.
Remember that happiness and sadness are twins; they co-exist in us all and both eventually melt away.
We will help you befriend your feelings and bring kind-hearted awareness to even your most difficult emotions. “Be a yacht, not a dinghy. Sail calmly through the waves of life, rather than being tossed about the ocean swell.”
